I spent the past weeks to the preparations for an exhibition in Walls Gallery. This guardian of the city, is part of a new series of paintings that I made especially for this exhibition. The guardians offer protection and watch over us and our environment. This painting is among others to view and for sale until January 19, 2012.
Forgot to say that the opening of the exhibition was also truly amazing!

ReplyDeleteDankjewel Mandy! ehm moet ik even goed nadenken over je vraag, want ik mix alle kleuren zelf tot iets anders, het wisselt dus per keer hoe het eruit ziet..maar voor dit schilderij heb ik volgens mij onder andere 'Phthalo blue' acrylverf van het merk 'Reeves' gemixt met van alles en nog wat, tot het deze kleur werd :) en daarna nog bewerkt met dik waterverf..dus dit is een effect van laag na laag..
